The evening’s momentum began in the Men’s 4x100m Relay, where the Titans secured their first win of the day in the running events with a new school record of 39.23. The foursome of Isaiah Emerson, Abel Jordan, Dominic Gates and Ian Dossman, are now ranked 12th overall in the NCAA. Emerson doubled back later in the day to win the Men’s 400m Dash with a new lifetime best of 46.89.

Feeding off the surge of early success, Joshua Hornsby kept the Titan momentum rolling in the Men’s 110m Hurdles, clocking 13.96 to secure the win and move to No. 5 all-time in program history. On the women’s side, Jaiden Hill captured the 400m crown in 55.39, notching a personal best and strengthening Fullerton’s presence across the sprints.

In the Men’s 100m Dash, S.H.A.R.K.S PRO sprinter Benjamin Azmati made a statement in his season debut, stopping the clock at an eye-catching 10.12. Azmati, who holds the Ghanaian national record of 9.90 from 2022, looks primed for another big year.

Modesto’s Shaylan Roy-Williams capped off a standout evening with an impressive double, taking the Women’s 100m title in a strong headwind with a time of 11.38. Shaylan also won the Women’s Long Jump, jumping 5.83m. Meanwhile, Cal State Fullerton’s Suraya Newman soared to victory in the Triple Jump, hitting a new personal best of 11.25m.

Cal State Fullerton’s Kyliegh Wilkerson made her own mark in the Women’s Discus, launching a lifetime best of 49.62m, which moves her to No. 3 all-time in Titan history.
